MONTREAL, Dec. 19, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ – On December 18, the Comité provincial de concertation et de développement de l’industrie du taxi(CPDCIT) celebrated a new partnership with the Bureau du taxi de Montréal (BTM) for its Cool Taxi initiative. Among other things, this alliance will permit the approval of vehicle wraps in the program’s colours. This is a first in Montreal’s taxi industry: Several cars will criss-cross city streets to remind everyone to plan for their safe return home after celebrations involving alcohol. Cool Taxi is an initiative started by the fathers of three teenage girls who were severely wounded in 2010 in an accident involving impaired driving.
